Meet the Pastor’s

JD-KellieJD Tew, Sr. Pastor

JD and his wife Kellie answered God’s call to plant a Freedom Biker Church in Fayetteville in July of 2009.  Freedom Biker Church was planted to reach out to the Motorcycle community of which there are 8000+ registered Motorcyclists in Cumberland county and another 8000 in the surrounding counties.

Why a Biker Church?  Well, why not?  Biker’s need Jesus too!  We’re simply removing barriers so those who ride can meet Jesus.  We’re simply doing what we love to do and sharing Christ while we do it.

JD served as one of the Pastors at the original Freedom Biker Church in the Triangle before being called to Fayetteville.

Freedom Fayetteville started in “The Barn” behind JD & Kellie’s home and grew from 45 people to an average of over 150 people in less than 3 years. In November of 2012, construction was completed on the new Freedom facility at 455 Rock Hill Rd Fayetteville and today they have over 450 members. 138 people have been Baptized since July 2009.

Prior to answering God’s call as a Church Planter & Pastor JD worked for 20+ years as a Production Mgr. in the Snack Food Industry in Cary, NC.

JD & Kellie have three kids, 4 grandchildren, and a Bulldog named Moses.
